Audio Market Tour & Lunch

Be guided through Darwin’s iconic markets taking in the sea of languages, stories and unfamiliar produce. Go on a journey to explore the multicultural flavours on offer and get to know your local stallholders that little bit better.

With fresh ingredients purchased from the market, gather back at the Tropical Kitchen to cook a home-style feast with your fellow participants, sharing in stories of the people and culture that created the dishes. Savour your creations as you enjoy a relaxed lunch, complemented by good conversation and drinks, in ACCOMPLICE’s intimate courtyard.

Handmade Market Dinners

For the home cook, the foodie or the story aficionado, this hands-on cooking workshop takes you on a journey through tropical flavours. Prepare and enjoy a range of home-style dishes and relish in the stories behind the recipes.

Drawing on eclectic Asian flavours, learn to make a range of spicy sambal condiments, prepare local fresh seafood and cook those unknown Asian vegetables we find at the markets!

The meal is complemented with draft American Amber Ale from boutique brewery Semi-Pro Brewing Co – alive with grapefruit and caramel hints – and with small batch Australian wines handpicked to accompany the feast: choose from rose, Riesling and Sangiovese, or indulge in them all.

The evening finishes as you savour your creations alongside the other participants in an intimate courtyard under the stars.
